In the works for many years, the 4-H Center is pleased to share information about our soon-to-be-open "hybrid" shooting sports complex. Why hybrid? Although the range has many features of an "indoor" shooting range including climate controlled classroom space, it is "open" on one end allowing for shooters to fire into an earthen berm outside of the range. This allows for a less-intensive ventilation system and lead-mining process, meaning lowered costs for the 4-H Center and our users. Amenities and features of the Rocovich Shooting Sports Complex:
- Twelve (12) firing lines
- Electronic target retrieval systems
- Range Officers command booth
- Classroom/meeting space (climate controlled)
- Administrative office (climate controlled)
- Armory (climate controlled)
- Dry fire room (climate controlled)
- Bathroom facilities (climate controlled)
- Covered outdoor teaching area
